Background Noise: Defying Gravity, Wicked

Right now i want... to note for the record.
yes, sunsets can be romantic. so can candles, dinner, dancing, music, theater, dancing lessons, cooking, sight seeing, breakfast, lunch, movies, furniture shopping, apartment hunting, swiming, getting coffee, reading the sunday paper at breakfast, and basically anything else you can do. these things _can_ all be romantic, but they don't have to be .
these are all things i happen to enjoy. it's not a complete list, but it's a good start.
i also like spending time with people. usually any people. i like hanging out and i like having company. and since i've been in california i've had a short supply of company.
so i would like to make something painfully clear for my male friends out there:
just because i may ask you to do any of these things with me does NOT mean i am asking you out! it means i want your company, plain and simple!
trust me, you'll know if i'm asking you out, or i want to be romantic. unless we are in the company of other people, i am not subtle. my voice deepens, my posture changes, i've even been told my eyes get bluer and my lips change color.
so, from this point on, i don't want to have to worry, or stress, or cause a great drama because i am asking a male friend to do any activity with me. especially watching sunsets. i just don't want to go alone.
