Right now i want... hmm...

i'm finding that if i listen to some form of classical music while i'm drinking my coffee and have just gotten in the office, chances of my being in a better mood increase drastically :) i can move on to something more rocky after about an hour.

so. looks like i might have a guest this weekend. ellen randomly called me last night, sounding stressed (shocker) and asking if my offer for her to come visit me after her finals was still good. of course it is, i said. great, she said, my last final is friday, how much do you think a ticket friday night would be? :)

haha. hehe... i'm giving elle my bad travel habits. last minute or bust. it's great. actually though, site59 (love that site) jumped in with a few pretty good deals, so hopefully she'll be able to talk mommy into paying for it. she deserves a break. and lord knows she wouldn't pay for it herself.

just in case she isn't bringing the boyfriend or doesn't want a hotel i'm borrowing andy's sleeping bag. steve and his blow up mattress aren't here yet, and knowing my sister, if the only sleeping choices were my bed and the couch, somehow she'd talk me into sleeping on the couch instead of my own bed. then she'd complain about the pillows. and my sheets (they're only 800 thread count, not nearly nice enough for princess ellen...)

:) hehe... but you know? i've missed taking care of her (the annoying baby). she always breaks my stuff, takes my stuff, costs me money. but i've been looking out for her and pampering her my whole life. dave too, only he doesn't let me play as much. it's one of those things i've missed being here in cali... not being able to take care of the siblings, though i do (and did) complain about it... a lot. nearly constantly ;)

for a health update, apparently my talking embargo yesterday afternoon worked, my throat doesn't hurt as much, and i don't sound like a bass, so... progress. i also haven't coughed today (thank goodness... hmm, maybe i should switch to Wicked)...

boy, i'm random this morning.
