Right now i want... nothing more than what i have

So i'm going a little cookoo over Jem being on dvd. I couldn't tell you name of every episode, but these little things are crawling out of the cobwebs of my earlier memories. Kimber was the coolest name ever. Glitter and Gold was wonderous. Music is Magic was an inspiration.

... no, it really was. i just downloaded and listened to the song again. I could barely believe it. for a fluffy girly saturday morning cartoon, it sure packed a lot of punch:

music is magic

filling up your soul

cuts through sadness like a knife

:) no wonder we want our music 24-7, with us where ever we go (love you, ipod), with music for every mood and situation, become the producers of the sountracks of our lives... napster, kazaa, aquisition, itunes music store, vh1, mtv, radio; it's music as we demand and as we like it...

after all, music makes you whole. cuts through the sadness like a knife; wondrous and mystical; something of a miracle.

music sets you free, let's you see the world they way it _ought_ to be,

the sweet, sweet, sound of life.
