hi. so, i need to write about this weekened. not now, b/c i'm leaving soon to take a bunch of people on my NEW! softball team to play it again sports (how am i going to have the energy to do this?!) but, i needed to at least write something here, more as a reminder for myself than for you guys. sorry.

my mom, grandma, and numerous aunts were here this weekend. i lost my bedroom to my mom, i slept on the floor in the living room, which, was VERY clean.

i have to say, my apartment hasn't looked so nice since i moved here. i had fresh flowers and everything. i cleaned twice a day. it was as close to a hotel as my apartment will ever get (sorry steve).

i did a lot of listening this weekend. and taking care of people and things, that too. because it was my aunt's birthday, i wasn't the focus of the family, but i certainly the one who had to take care of everythign they wanted to do. i basically ran the party (filling trays, getting wine, being nice, meeting everyone, taking care of the band, etc, etc). i even played the piano for them. not that playing the piano is a huge deal, it just wasn't one of those things i was ready to do at the drop of a hat like everything else i had planned for.

... sorry, i'm starting to run on and i have to fix this one error before i leave for the softball outing.
