ok! :) we have 2 very different posts rolled in to one... ready, set, go!

the new york times is running two new editorials about the RIAA's tactics in suing thousands of people who use p2p networks. Share the Music and Don't Beat Them, Join Them. they're not the best i've seen, or even that the times' has run, but, they're worth a read. and a link.



also, The Notebook is in theaters today! this is the movie barb and i went to see when she was visiting two weekends ago. the reviews have been mixed. and i have a sneaking suspicion that those who wrote favorable reviews either took a date or were women, and those who didn't like it are miserable, lonely men.
