Right now i want... to actually make it to a movie today

one of the "new" blogger features apparently is the ability to upload images for display. i'm trying that out now. just for fun. i'm going to use one of my favorite series of comics, Foxtrot, and Bill Amends great commentary on the Harry Potter v. Lord of the Rings "controversy". this was june of 2003, describing the competing releases of Harry Potter 1 and Fellowship of the Rings a month apart the fall before (that would be 2002, people).

so, in the spirit of experimentation, nostalgia, and just flat out funny, here we go!

oh. well, cut that. apparently i DON"T actually have the right to upload to the blogger servers (not surprising, i don't pay for that right). but since i've talked about these comics so much, here you go anyways! :)
