Right now i want... lil vent

You may remember that Steve left california for ann arbor last saturday. his internship was over and school was starting, though he did go back with a signed offer to come right back to work when he's done with his masters (congrats, dude!). He left, and left me living alone again.

Here's the delimma: i really like living alone, and i really don't like paying all of my rent; additionally, i think if i get a new roommate i would like to live with a girl, but i don't know any girls out here who need a roommate (for that matter, i don't know anyone out here who needs a roommate), and i don't like the idea of living with a stranger. but - and this will come up often - i don't like paying all of my rent, it makes me feel poorer than i am.

So i posted an add on craigslist on sunday, figured i'd throw my hat in the ring, and see who responded. plenty of people have emailed me about wanting my extra room, but here's the kicker: they've all been guys.

Angel on the Shoulder: which brings me right back to that argument about not living with a strange guy.
Devil on the Shoulder: which brings ME back to that argument about not paying full rent.

::sigh::

and all of this reminds me that i don't know enough people out here in california.
