i. am. such. a. fangirl. wow. i didn't think i actually had the ability to squee! like a 12 year old girl at a boy band concert, but, turns out, yep, i do!

last night's premier of Gilmore Girls was as close to a perfect climax after 3 months of waiting and wondering as a show has ever pulled off; and with a 6.1 neilsen rating (and almost beating Last Comic Standing) it was well appreciated... as it should have been! i cannot express the joy of watching a truly well planned, written, and acted show that actually dares to handle situations realistically while still imbuing them with humor and warmth. i am seriously over the moon... if you saw me this morning, with this huge sappy grin on my face, you would seriously think i had gotten some action last night. well, i suppose in a sense i did, but it's not what you think. hmm, i suppose sex could have made last night perfect, but i won't dwell on that, i'm too busy being excited.

and for all of you who had to miss last night's premier and don't have tivo, the internet invented bittorrent for a reason: use it. there are some benefits to living on the west coast, i was able to find an active bittorrent of the episode before i was actually able to see it.
