Right now i want... a blogging app that actually works.
I want to have a local copy of all of my posts (my own archive), an editor to create and manage posts with, and the ability to store and edit templates and other controls.
so, i figured someone else in the grand expanse that is the blogspace would have come to this conclusion before i did and would have written an app i could download and use; i'm even willing to pony up some money for it. but guess what? so far, i haven't found a single app that works well enough to surpass the usability/performance of what the guys over at blogger already have.
the question becomes: is this something i need enough to write myself?
it would be nice to have a full powered editor/database to handle everything that goes into a blog. to be able to keep multiple templates to work on, show fully rendered html, update at will... blog even when there is no net connection and then be able to upload with correct date/time stamps when a connection exists....
it's not like i don't have enough work on my plate already... but this kind of full-bodied app would be very nice to have.... :)

![]() | ok, here's what i want: i want to be able to control my blog (and blogger) from my desktop without having to use a web browser. |
