i'm not sure if i'll make it home for christmas this year. i already know i won't make it home for thanksgiving, but the window of time allowed for winter break and the number of flights remaining are giving me cause to hold off on buying my tickets.

and for reasons that are mounting by the minute, not going home for christmas is a terribly depressing thought.

... in other news, i woke up at 3:17am and thought the clock said 7:17am so i got up and took a shower, only realizing how disgustingly early it was when i got back to my room, now awake. so basically i'm really tired now. i should go home.

the harvest moon is tonight; it will start to rise in about half an hour, regardless of which coast of this country you're on. try to take a look, it should be beautiful.

speaking of beautiful, the clouds here last night were amazing. yet another moment i wished i had a camera i could carry in my pocket. oh well :)
