Right now i want... sleep

i'm home. it sounds so simple, so easy, so... obvious. but for the past while it hasn't been. and now... i'm home. when my plane was landing today, as we flew over my daddy's old office building, the "big, tall, office building", i started to cry. i wish i could deny it, but i can't; and i don't want to.

i saw how beautiful my home looked in that patchwork quilt of brightly colored leaves and that welcoming grey sky and i melted. i called my best friend as we touched down and left a message that said "i can't quit my fabulous job because of the leaves on the trees outside metro airport, can i...?"

"it's not the years, honey, it's the milage..." :) thanks, indiana....

oh boy, i really do need to sleep, don't it?

more of the adventures of the computer fairy later, i promise... i just need to sleep....
