Right now i want... my flight to be today

i'm sorry i haven't written in a while; a magical combination of too much work while i'm at work and my cable modem being out when i'm at home pretty much stymied any time or inclination i've had to write. there has been so much that i had to get done in order to go home tomorrow, that had to be my focus... :) regardless of how tired it's left me.

to top that off, my fall allergies have come back with a force, so, in a way, it's good that i'm going home when i am -- besides the obvious reasons, i'll be able to stop in to UHS for an adrenaline treatment or two. woo hoo.

i still have a bunch to get done before tomorrow morning -- least of which is figuring out when my flight actually is -- but they're more enjoyable chores than hard or obnoxious work. i want to get my hair cut, i have to pack, and i really need to figure out who's watching my cat.

:) but other than that, i'm really really looking forward to being a leafer, an alumna, and a computer fairy for a few days.

oh! but i should mention while i'm here, i saw Team America this weekend :) and all i can say is, as long as you're head won't explode when you hear puppets swearing and see them having sex (basically if you LIKE Avenue Q) run don't walk when this movie comes out on friday.

i also made the first act of the last performance of the San Francisco Opera Company's La Traviata on friday; it was beautiful, an oil painting come to life (especially from where i was sitting). and now that i actually know where the Opera House is, i'm looking forward to the rest of their season and my randomly buying tickets.
