Right now i want... my car loan to be approved!

Well, Ladies and Gentlemen, i finally did it! i went down to KeyPoint Credit Union, opened an account, and applied for a car loan for what will hopefully be my new car! or SUV, or girlie-SUV, or whatever you want to call the Ford Escape.

Cross your fingers for me, i should know by thursday.

I've never applied for a loan before, heck, i've never bought a new car before. This has been an odd experience, but once i made my decision, waiting was almost impossible.

Besides, the stars have aligned to make this the perfect time for me to get this car (notice how i'm talking like i already have the money to buy this car, which is not the case but indulge my delusions): Apple and Ford are partners which crushes the sticker price, there is $2k cash back, i'm trading in my car, Ford is offering a free GPS unit if i buy the car before the end of the month, and KeyPoint is offering a $100 gas card if i take out a loan with them, to go along with the points off my apr once i turn on direct deposit.

Oh, and there's a new Gilmore Girls on tonight, where they sing show-tunes. Show-tunes! that has to be a sign.

Or something.

Or not.

... of course, if this doesn't work i won't have another chance to get a car until after NAB in April. But i'm trying not to go too in depth into contingency plans; i want plan A to work.

::laugh:: i guess i didn't need the extra shot of espresso this morning, i'm bouncing off the walls. Back to bug squashing go I....
