Background Noise: Almost, Bowling for Soup
Last website visited: Pictures from Point Reyes
Mood: what a beautiful day
Right now i want... more pictures from this weekend... i must remember to always have my camera with me! damnit!

How was my weekend, you ask? Let me put it this way: the above pictures represent an hour of my 2! mini-roadtrips and about 5% of the beautiful scenery i saw. Yes, i'm an idiot for not carrying a camera with me more often. maybe those carry-in-your-pocket-point-and-shoot-digitals are worth the couple hundred bucks... hmm....

Oh wait, no! i take that back! i can't think about spending money again until april. at the earliest. i'm still traumatized from buying my car, my credit card needs a breather.

I also found the most perfect beach imaginable in Half Moon Bay on Saturday. Ate at the Main Street Grill, checked out the surfers, read some of my book, blew out my voice singing in my car, blew out my knee scaling a cliff (only slightly exaggerating) to get to afore mentioned perfect beach, ate amazing seafood at PJ's in San Francisco... and that was saturday. (Please note the lack of the phrase "spent time at work"). Headed into Berkely sunday and finally ate at the famous Top Dog, then over into Santa Rosa and along the Sir Francis Drake Ave all the way across to Point Reyes, then back down Highway 1 across the Golden Gate Bridge to have dinner at Houston's along the Embarcadero looking at the Bay Bridge (which is beautiful at night)... then home :)

All in all, it was almost a normal, relaxing, weekend off... and now, back to our regularly scheduled reality ;)

The Main Street Grill is cool, innit?

There are lots of great beaches on the coast. Many around Half Moon Bay I haven't even been to. The Marine Wildlife Refuge in Moss Beach is a favorite, though (there's a great trail along the bluffs, too). There are also some great ones on the drive from HMB to Santa Cruz (the reverse of which was my own car's maiden voyage).
