Please, please, please - in the nicest way possible - do not discredit/condesend on any shipper couple. No more wars - please... I beg of you.

Classical funny scene: the girls and their guys are spending the night at the DI and in the middle of the night both girls sneak downstairs (unbeknownst to each other) to the kitchen to get some pie and coffee. They bump into each other - both wearing only their guys' shirts. They end up talking, chatting, rambling in classic Lorelai/Rory manner.

Both guys eventually wake up during the night looking for their girls only to find their side of bed empty and cold. Both go downstairs searching for them (again, unbeknownst to each other) only to bump into each other walking into the kitchen.

Camera angle shows both girls in their guys' shirts eating pie on the counter of the DI kitchen and both guys staring at them incredously wearing nothing but the matching drawstring pj pants to the shirts (low down on their hips, of course - so we get to see that classic V shape their bodies form.

Our shipper hearts would skip many beats, the avi-makers wouldn't be able to make avis fast enough and the popularity of GG will hit an all-time high.
