In a perfect world, where i had extra money to spend, i would buy shoes. Yes, i know it's cliche, and no, i can't really give you a good enough reason why except, shoes, in this sense are like beautiful lingerie: they just makes you feel pretty, dammit. And i have to stop trawling through all the fabulous sites the New York Time told me about because i have to get some work done. But here's a preview of what i liked:



Be warned, however: there is a lot of crap in with the fabulous. The benefit of online shoe shopping i suppose is that there will always be crappy shoes with the fabulous that you have to sort through, it's much easier to make you first pass 99 at a time.



In other news, i have found nirvana: finally! a site that reviews (and lists!) restaurants in the bay area!. With pictures no less. JatBar is a bit of a revelation for me. Maybe now i'll be able to come closer to that dining variety i've been missing. Because, believe me, we've exhausted all of the crazy-crap-on-the-wall-variants-of-American.
