Random Thought: I am now one of those women who is addicted to shoes. Hopefully i'll soon have the funds to support my habit.

I'm in heaven. The real question is, which color? I really want the suede ones too... hmm.... Help!
In other news... how did it get to be thursday? I'm confused.
My first birthday card of the season arrived yesterday from my Grandma. She sent me a lovely card with a note in that perfect handwriting of hers... and i miss her. I miss home. I'm not sad about being so far away, but i am excited to be back. In her note my Grandma mentioned she had seen a kitten on her windowsill and i realized that i don't actually know if she has ever had any pets. I know my mom's family had a dog or two then several cats, but i don't remember anything about my dad's side of the family. I want to suggest that she get a kitten, since Puff has been such a good friend to me, but i'm not sure if that would be out of line. My siblings and i were always told to hold our tongues around that side of the family for so long i find that i stop myself from saying anything beyond "how's the weather" and "what have you read lately?"
Maybe it's time i said something. At the very least, i should take some pictures of work and my apartment and send them back to my Grandma so she isn't so worried about me.
I've been very out of it this afternoon. I was fine for the most part this morning after recovering from my record out-of-it-ness last night (ask Barb), but once i sat down after lunch my mind just went... blank. I could be burnt out, or rapidly approaching it. Who knows, if i don't.
Totally off topic, I hate the UPS website.
ETA: My boss-of-the-week votes for the Violet boots. He has good taste; i agree: the violet it is.Tomorrow Tonight. Now. They'll be here in 4ish days!
ETA...Again: I really have to stop looking at Zappos; it's going to destroy my bank balance. Just look at these gorgeous babies! Ok, i'm done... i've had my fix for the day... i can stop looking at the shoes, i swear.
