Mood: new trailers make me happy; even after all morning at the DMV
Yeay for the killer new trailer! Finally, it looks like Warner Brother actually got a movie version right; not a bad book to start with.

So, yes, i went to the DMV this morning to (again, finally) get a California drivers license. *sigh*. I am going to miss my Michigan one (though they actually let me keep it)... a much better picture.
I actually got a bit misty when i realized i wasn't going to vote at my old Middle School anymore; silly, maybe, but it's true. I basically had every electoral experience of my life at West Maple, and damnit, i don't really relish changing horses now. The ladies who worked the elections even knew me by name, and would always tell me if my parents or brother or sister had been there already to vote. Ok, i have to stop this before i get sentimental again... there is work to do after all.
Oh, and let me know what you think, i'm debating when to go home for my birthday. Now hear me out. If i go home for my birthday itself it will be a rushed weekend (i know i won't be able to take much more than my actual birthday itself off.) But if i wait to go home for my mom's birthday, i'll probably be able to take as much as a week off, and i might have a prayer of actually being relaxed while i'm there. Also, i've been thinking about it, and it's really only possible for me to go home for my birthday and christmas and not thanksgiving, so if i wait longer to go home for my birthday it will split the difference for thanksgiving.
does that make any sense? I'm officially open for suggestions now.
:) watch that trailer!
