Ok, i'm going to ignore the pink elephant standing over my shoulder; sorry, i refuse to address what happened at a certain homecoming game today. Let's just say that for the first time i'm glad i wasn't home this weekend - i'm not sure i could have taken it.

So! my birthday was yesterday - yeay. All in all it was a good day: beautiful weater, i slept in a bit, only worked for 6 hours, had good lunch and good dinner with friends, and saw In Her Shoes and The Wallace and Gromit Movie - i recommend both. But hey, don't listen to me, listen to Barb.

... and speaking of Barb, i'm so beyond thrilled that we will both be in Michigan at the same time, and that she has given me the excuse i needed to go up north while i'm home. Upper Michigan is so beautiful in october, and i always feel more... relaxed there. Almost like a real person... and after all, isn't that why i'm going home? To rest and recuperate? (Please ignore the fact that i am at the office right now - it's not for long, i swear).

I'm whiped out. I'm planning on a quick shopping outting, then many hours curled up with a book in bed semi-napping on and off. Yeah, that sounds good.
